<p class="Paragraph">These functions are available within the application, whether or not the Help window is active. Choose it from the <span class="T1">Help</span> menu.</p>
<p class="Head2">The Help Agent</p>
<p class="Paragraph">In certain situations the <help:link Id="66281" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Help Agent</help:link> is started automatically. It shows a small window in a corner of the document which you can click to get help with the current situation.</p>
<p class="Head2">Help Tips</p>
<p class="Paragraph">Rest the cursor for a moment on an icon to see the name of that icon appear.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">The tip function also provides valuable help in many places, such as the names of chapters when scrolling through a long document.</p>
<p class="Head2">Extended Tips</p>
<p class="Paragraph">Activate the <span class="T1">extended tips</span> to have a brief <span class="T1">description of the function</span> of a particular icon, text box or menu command appear when you rest your cursor on that item.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">You can also start this function with (Shift)(F1).</p>
